How You Can Help Ensure the Continued Success of the Modoc County District Fair:

● Engage with Schools and Teachers: Reach out to local schools to encourage
student and class participation in fair competitions and exhibits.
● Plan and Lead Events: Identify events or activities you’d like to see at the
2025 Fair, propose them to the Foundation board, and volunteer to chair the
event.
● Prepare the Fairgrounds: Collaborate with the Foundation and Fair Board to
ensure the grounds are in top condition for the Fair.
● Vendor Recruitment: Assist in recruiting and contracting vendors to offer a
diverse and engaging experience for fairgoers.
● Set-Up and Take-Down Support: Help with setting up and dismantling shade
canopies, tables, chairs, and display cases before and after the Fair.
● Arena Preparation: Work with the team to get the arena ready for events,
ensuring it’s in excellent shape.

There are countless ways to contribute, and they need your help! Foundation
membership is just $20 for the year, and meetings are typically held on the second
Tuesday of each month.

If you have suggestions for next year’s Fair, please send to MHF @ POB 295,
Cedarville 96104. Please provide solution(s) for any problems. Appreciated by
October 1 if possible. Thanks!
