Rhonda Haselip Invitational returning May 23

As spring returns to Modoc County, so does the 10th Annual Rhonda Haselip Invitational (RHI)!  After taking a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are ecstatic to welcome our special athletes of all ages to participate. This exciting event gathers athletes to play and have fun with each other and awesome volunteers in a positive and safe environment.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 23 at the Modoc High School football field. Registration for the event will start at 9:00 a.m. with the opening ceremony at 10:00 a.m. Lunch will be provided. Many organizations, businesses, and individuals work together to make this event a day to remember. We invite you to be a volunteer or to come watch and cheer for our athletes as they participate in the events.

After the RHI, there will be a free movie for the athletes and their organizations to enjoy at The Niles Theater, graciously sponsored by Plumas Bank. The public is also welcome! Cal Pines also puts on a Luau for visitors and members of the public in the evening. Contact Liz at 530-233-4527 for more information about the luau.

Please join us for this fun-filled and inspiring day! At our last event in 2019, we had over 150 participants; let’s try to beat that number this year!  For more information on the event, registering an athlete, or volunteering, contact Terri Sides or Holly Stains at 530-233-6311 or Monica Wisser at (530) 233-7110.
