American Legion Holding a Pancake Breakfast

American Legion Post 163 invites you to a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, May 4th from 8 am – 10 am at the Veterans Memorial Hall located at 508 S Main Street in Alturas. Menu includes Pancakes, Sausage, Scrambled Eggs, Coffee, Juice and Milk. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 11 and under; no charge for Veterans. Start your weekend with a hearty breakfast! Spend a Saturday morning visiting with family and neighbors, or just come have a filling breakfast before heading out for a day of errands and/or fun. With the added benefit of supporting your local American Legion Post.

American Legion to Hold a Rummage Sale

American Legion Post 163 will be holding a Rummage Sale, in conjunction with a community- wide yard Sale on Saturday, May 4th from 9 am to 4 pm at the Veterans Memorial Hall located at 508 S Main Street in Alturas. Funds that will be raised will be used to support our local American Legion Post, and to help Veterans and their families who are in need of Assistance. The public can bring donations of items that are clean and in good condition to the Veterans Hall on Sunday April 28 th from 10 am to 4 pm, or contact Sean Provart at (530) 708-0660 to arrange a time to meet. Try to avoid just dropping things off without speaking to anyone to prevent them from getting stolen. Come early and join us for a Pancake Breakfast prior to a day of bargain shopping!
