The Surprise Valley Education Foundation Fundraises For An Endowment Fund

The Surprise Valley Education Foundation fundraising for an endowment fund with local “Pour with Purpose” Wine and Whiskey Tasting, September 26th.

The Surprise Valley Education Foundation board is focused on creating a source of enduring support for the children of Surprise Valley. An endowment fund would make it possible to provide scholarships, educational support and projects for students for years to come. With a modest start, SVEF has a goal of raising $100,000 this year to invest in growing opportunities for the future.

The Surprise Valley Education Foundation was founded in 2014 and has a long record of supporting the children of Surprise Valley.  We were recently awarded a McConnell Community grant to support growing Little Free Libraries and virtual book club spaces.  Just this month, the SVEF-sponsored music program, featuring the 6/7 grade SVJUSD class and local high schooler Sequoia Klugherz, was awarded the international Telly Award!  “Another World”, written and produced by SV students in partnership with the David Z Foundation, can be found on YouTube!
