Modoc County Sheriff’s Office Bookings

As of Monday, April 29, 2024, the jail housed 27 individuals, comprising 2 females and 25 males, at a capacity of 43. Additionally, one person is serving time in another facility, exacerbating the strain on resources.

Recent bookings include:

Travis Kennedy Book, 30, of Cedarville, CA, arrested on April 23, 2024, for his fourth DUI offense and driving with a suspended license, He was booked by CHP with a bail set at $25,000.

Uriel Torres, 55, of Alturas, apprehended on April 24, 2024, for marijuana cultivation and conspiracy charges. Booked and held on $25,000 bail by MCSO.

James Charles White, 67, of Alturas, was detained on April 24, 2024, for DUI but was subsequently released on a signed promise to appear by CHP.

Bryce William Lemonds, 28, of Cedarville, CA, surrendered on April 25, 2024, to serve a sentence related to driving without a license. Booked and held without bail by Modoc Superior Court.

David Allen Pisco, 35, of Alturas, was arrested on April 26, 2024, for multiple charges including possession of a controlled substance while armed, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Booked and held on $25,000 bail by MCSO.

Most recently, Michael David Brenden, 34, of Glendale, OR, was apprehended on April 28, 2024, on felony charges related to marijuana distribution, possession of over an ounce of marijuana and providing false information to a peace officer. Booked and held on $10,000 bail.
