RISE Kicks Off Water Festival

RISE (Resources for Indian Student Education, Inc.) invites the community to cool off and celebrate summer at the upcoming Water Festival, set for Saturday, August 16, at the Alturas Municipal Pool.

The event runs from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and is open to everyone. Attendees can enjoy a range of family-friendly activities, including water games, demonstrations, snow cones, and prize giveaways.

Youth who participate in festival activities will receive free pool admission from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. following the event.

Organizers say the Water Festival is a great way to bring the community together while promoting healthy outdoor fun. For more information, call (530) 233-2226 or email rise.liaison@frontier.com.
