Van Fire Incident Near Bomen Rd. Prompts Investigation

A van fire occurring Tuesday afternoon on Hwy 395 towards Lakeview has sparked an investigation into its cause.

Authorities report the fire started while the vehicle was in operation west of Bomen Rd. Two individuals were inside the van at the time, with one passenger sustaining burns that necessitated medical attention.

According to initial findings, the fire did not last long and was extinguished before law enforcement arrived on the scene. Despite the incident, the van remained operational and was able to be driven away.
