Alturas Elementary School 2025-2026 Supply List

Kindergarten

(Shared Classroom Supplies)

  • 4 pkg. Elmer’s glue sticks (14+ count packs)***
  • 2 boxes Crayola crayons (24 pack)
  • 1 pack Crayola Markers
  • 4 erasers (Pink Pearl)
  • 24 Ticonderoga #2 pencils
  • 1 box of black fine tip dry erase markers
  • 1 pkg. of 2 black sharpies
  • 1 box of GALLON size plastic bags
  • 1 bottle of Purell hand sanitizer**
  • 2 boxes of Kleenex

(Individual Student Items – Label with names)

  • 1 change of clothes (to remain in backpack)
  • 1 full-sized backpack (must be able to fit a folder)
  • 1 water bottle (stay at school, NOT Rulison)

1st Grade

  • 1 3-ring 1” white binder
  • 2 boxes of 24 regular Crayola crayons
  • 2 boxes of colored pencils
  • 2 pack Crayola Markers (big markers)
  • 2 dozen #2 Ticonderoga, Mirado, or USA Gold pencils
  • 2 packs of low odor dry erase markers (black)
  • 2 boxes of Kleenex
  • 6 Elmer’s Glue Sticks*
  • 2 bottles of Hand Sanitizer
  • Water bottle (with name on it)
  • 1 standard size backpack
  • 1 pencil box

2nd Grade

  • 3 boxes of 16-count Crayola crayons
  • 3 Elmer’s Glue Sticks*
  • 1 bottle Purell Hand Sanitizer
  • 1 pencil box (approx. size 8″x4″)
  • 3 boxes of facial tissue
  • 6 pink pearl erasers
  • Headphones or earbuds (to stay in class during school year)
  • 1 water bottle (with name on it)
  • 1 standard size backpack

3rd Grade

  • 3 dozen #2 Ticonderoga pencils
  • 2 boxes (12-count) Crayola colored pencils
  • 2 boxes Crayola crayons (24 pack)
  • Expo fine tip dry erase markers
  • 3 boxes of Kleenex
  • 1 container Clorox wipes
  • Fine point black Sharpie(s)
  • 4–5 Elmer’s glue sticks (not purple)
  • 1 box sandwich-size Ziplocs
  • 1 pack pink pearl erasers

  • 1 (70 page) spiral bound notebook
  • 2 1-inch binders with window

4th Grade

  • 6 pink pearl erasers – not pencil toppers

  • 12 Elmer’s glue sticks
  • 1 pack skinny dry erase markers
  • 1 whiteboard eraser
  • 1 pair student scissors (larger size, rounded edges)

5th Grade

  • 1 3-ring 2” binder
  • 1 pkg. wide-ruled binder paper (with holes)
  • 1 pkg. of 5 pocket dividers
  • 1 box of #2 pencils
  • 1 pkg. of pencil cap erasers
  • 1 bottle of glue
  • 1 enclosed pencil sharpener
  • 1 box of colored pencils
  • 1 pack of highlighters
  • 1 backpack
  • 1 package of dry erase markers
  • 1 box of Kleenex
  • Water bottle (with name on it)
  • Pencil pouch (for inside binder)

Important Notes

  • Glue sticks must be Elmer’s and hand sanitizer must be Purell.
  • This list does not include fees for classroom activities or materials.
  • Supplies should be new and clearly labeled as needed.

The 2025–2026 school year begins on Wednesday, August 27th.
