As of Monday, the Modoc County Jail houses a total of 29 individuals, comprising 3 females and 26 males, with a capacity for 43 detainees. Additionally, one person is serving time in another facility.

April 29, 2024:

Kristina Michelle Morris, aged 50 from Lookout, CA, was arrested on a felony warrant for failure to appear and is being held without bail by the Modoc County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).

April 30, 2024:

Hope Israel Honeybean Trinity-Ridge, aged 49 from Alturas, was arrested for burglary and is held on a $50,000 bail by the Alturas Police Department (APD).

Bianca Zaragoza-Garcia, aged 20 from Alturas, was arrested on a felony warrant for failure to appear and is held on $10,000 bail by the APD.

On May 1, 2024:

Brian Anthony Widby, aged 35 from Cedarville, CA, was booked and released by the Modoc District Attorney (MODOC DISTRICT ATTORNEY) for child abuse.

Sean Dean Sain, aged 39 from Tulelake, CA, was arrested for disorderly conduct/alcohol by the MCSO and was released on a signed promise to appear.

Peter Eugene Summyleahy, aged 36 from Alturas, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, domestic battery, criminal threats, and violation of probation, and is held on $25,000 bail by the APD.

May 2, 2024:

Gary Lee Eugene Motheral, aged 39 from Alturas, was booked and released by the MODOC DISTRICT ATTORNEY for driving without a valid license.

Anthony John Phoenix, aged 48 from Fort Bidwell, CA, turned himself in to serve a sentence for domestic violence and is held without bail by the MODOC SUPERIOR COURT.

May 3, 2024:

James Lee Crampton, aged 42 from Alturas, was arrested for burglary, disorderly conduct/loitering, and violation of probation, and is held on $50,000 bail by the MCSO.

Thomas Eugene Curtis, aged 69 from Alturas, was arrested for violation of parole and is held without bail by the APD.

On May 5, 2024:

Jason Allen Duque, aged 37 from Anderson, CA, was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear and is held on $10,000 bail by the MCSO.

Joshua Lee Beattey, aged 44 from Alturas, was arrested on a felony warrant for failure to appear and for driving with a suspended privilege for DUI, and is held on $15,000 bail by the MCSO.
