CENTER OPEN

Open from 9:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Closed on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Services are for Seniors 60 years or older.

Please call a day in advance for lunch reservations.

LUNCH SERVICES:

Salad Bar is served at 11:30 a.m.

Lunch is served at 12:00 p.m.

Meals on Wheels Homebound Senior Meals will continue to be delivered. (No deliveries

on Monday or Wednesday). See Menu below.

TRANSPORTATION SERVICES: Bus services for Seniors are available through Sage

Stage. You can utilize this service by obtaining a no-cost voucher from the T.E.A.C.H.,

Inc. Senior Services office.

CALENDAR OF EVENTS:

Thursdays: 4/18, 4/25 – BUNCO 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Fridays: 4/19, 4/26 – BINGO: 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall.

Café 906 Cafeteria is OPEN. T.E.A.C.H., Inc. Senior Service Office is located in the

Senior Center at 906 West 4th Street. The T.E.A.C.H., Inc. office is located at 112

East 2nd Street in Alturas.

Access Social Security

The Social Security Administration is no longer coming to Alturas. All Social Security Services have been transferred to the Susanville office. The representatives will no longer traveling to Modoc County. Please see some additional information for the public on how to obtain services related to social security.

Thursday: Apr. 18 –Barbecue Chicken, Brussel sprouts, rice, whole wheat bread,

salad, Jell-O with fruit and milk.

Friday: Apr. 19 – Swedish Meatballs, mixed vegetables, whole wheat bread, Cutie

orange and milk.

Monday: Apr. 22– Closed.

Tuesday: Apr. 23 – Ravioli, corn, black beans, whole wheat bread, salad, cinnamon roll cake and milk.

Wednesday: Apr. 24 – Closed.

Thursday: Apr. 25 – Meatloaf with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, whole wheat bread, salad and milk.

Friday: Apr. 26 –Egg rolls, rice, broccoli, whole wheat bread, Mandarin cup and milk.
